Project Supervisor

Job Type: Contract (6 months with possibility of renewal)
Job Location: Hybrid (80% onsite, 20% remote). Relocation required.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Project Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects and setting up and maintaining a state-of-the-art soundproof e-learning studio. This role requires expertise in both sound and civil engineering, with a focus on ensuring the highest quality standards in construction and audio-visual technology.

Responsibilities:
Construction Supervision:

1. Manage and supervise construction projects from inception to completion.
2. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure adherence to project specifications, timelines, and budgets.
3. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
4. Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
5. Provide expertise to local contractors on site, bring up requirements and specifications. 
6. Write technical specifications and documentation.

Studio Setup:

1. Supervise the implementation of the   layout of the e-learning studio, ensuring optimal acoustics and soundproofing.
2. Supervise the  installation of soundproofing materials and equipment to create a conducive content creation environment.
3. Collaborate with audio-visual specialists to integrate cutting-edge technology into the studio setup.
4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to audio and visual equipment and technology.

Budget Management:

1. Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
2. Track expenses, prepare financial reports, and provide regular updates to management.

Quality Assurance:

1. Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure construction and studio setup meets industry standards.
2. Conduct thorough inspections and testing to guarantee the functionality and reliability of the e-learning studio.

Requirements:
Proficiency in Google applications and collaborative software is a must. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to work independently and with integrity while remaining accountable to his/her supervisors. Daily reporting on project progress is required. 

Qualifications:

1. Diploma, Higher National Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil and/or Sound Engineering.
2. Proven work experience in construction project supervision.
3. Proven work experience in setting up soundproof environments and audio-visual studios.
4. Strong knowledge of sound engineering principles and construction methodologies.
5. Excellent project management and organizational skills.
6. Leadership and team management capabilities.
7. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Effective collaboration skills in hybrid working environments

Salary Range:
The gross salary for this position ranges between GHC 28,800 and GHC34,000 per annum and the total annual compensation for the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors including the experience and anticipated value of the candidate to the company.
