Exciting Progress on the Teaching Innovation Center at CONAHS

Afro Technologies Ltd is pleased to announce significant progress in the construction of the state-of-the-art, multipurpose 5-studio teaching innovation center at the College of Nursing and Midwifery. This initiative, funded by the Ghana Skills Development Fund (GSDF), aims to enhance the educational experience for nursing and midwifery students.

Recently, Project Manager Warihana Gumah visited the college to assess the construction progress. She was genuinely impressed by the dedication and hard work demonstrated by the construction team. Their commitment to the project has created an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation.

The project is on track for completion by the middle of next month. This innovation center will serve as more than just a building; it will be a hub for creativity and learning. Equipped with modern technology and a focus on instructional design, the center will empower educators to develop engaging online training content tailored to prepare young people for careers in healthcare.

In addition to the construction efforts, Afro Technologies Ltd has stationed a support staff member at the college to assist faculty in their course creation and the effective use of the Learning Management System (LMS). This initiative follows the successful completion of instructional design training for over 100 college staff members, ensuring that the educators have the necessary skills to create their courses. The support staff is there to reinforce this training and provide hands-on assistance to the tutors.

The anticipated impact of this center extends beyond the college. By elevating the quality of education provided, it will contribute significantly to the future of healthcare in Ghana. Students will benefit from enriched learning experiences, leading to improved healthcare standards across the nation.
